TAG Video Systems has joined SVG Europe as a Gold Sponsor, to stay engaged with the sports broadcasting industry and community during the pandemic, and beyond.

Adi Itzhaki, vice president of sales EMEA at TAG, commented on joining the SVG Europe fold: “In 2020, and going into 2021, the sports industry has been deeply impacted by COVID-19, forcing broadcasters to implement dramatic changes in operations and production. At TAG Video Systems we are delighted to have SVG Europe as a partner and a resource during this time of adjustment to keep us informed of relevant developments and keep us engaged with leagues, owners, teams, broadcasters, webcasters, OB companies and other technology providers, all on one platform.”

He went on: “SVG Europe gives TAG the opportunity to bring our groundbreaking MCM-9000 IP multiviewing, probing and monitoring technology to the professional sports community in Europe, strengthening existing partnerships and establishing new business relationships through its unparalleled networking events, whether virtual or in-person.

“As a portal, SVG allows us to deliver news of upgrades and enhancements to the best and brightest minds in sports broadcasting. Some of TAG’s recent developments include the incorporation of Adaptive Video Monitoring for optimised cloud utilisation and added support for CMAF, Zixi, and Dolby Atmos,” he added.
Itzhaki concluded: “We are also pleased with the opportunity to bring our whitepapers and guides to other members and end users via SVG Europe’s Forum. We hope that sharing our extensive knowledge of emerging and futureproof technologies such as over the top (OTT), IP, and operating on COTS or in the cloud – which we’ve accrued over 12 years – will help others to support and provide an elevated viewer experience.”
